The organizer of the Festival appoints the jury members of whom one is the President of the jury (International Jury).
Duties of the Festival jury are:
To review all the works that entered the competition and to declare winners according to the propositions and expert estimates – presenting an expert commentary and a written decision signed by all members of the jury. The Festival jury decision shall be unanimous, or if otherwise, shall be brought by the majority. The decision of the jury cannot be appealed upon by the participants of the Festival.
The jury will get to see films previously selected by the festival team who has determined that the films have met the requirements of the festival. The jury will watch them and compile a list of films that are nominated for one of the awards. The films that are selected will be screened during the three-day festival.
Gorjan Tozija – President of the Jury
Over 35 years in the film industry, Gorjan Tozija is working as a production manager, assistant director and a producer. Has worked on more than 50 projects, mostly co-‐productions with major USA and European studios. He has produced the most awarded Macedonian film “Before the rain” (over 38 awards and a Oscar nomination). The latest production is “The Liberation of Skopje” as a producer, directed by Rade Sherbedzija. For a several years he’s been a director of the Film Festival “Manaki Brothers”.
He is a Member of the European Producer’s Club, European Film Academy; Croatia and Macedonian Film Professionals Associations.

Slavija Jačan Obratov was born in Zadar. She got her journalism degree from the Zagreb University Faculty of Political Science.
Her career in tourism began at the Head office of the Croatian Tourist National Board where she still works. From 2000 to 2002 she was Head of the Information Department and between 2002 and 2013, Head of the Communications and Publishing Department. She ran the Destination Support Department until March 2016 when she was appointed Director of Destination Management and Product Development Support Division.
Through years of working in the publishing and production fields, Slavija and her team put through numerous projects that theCroatian National Tourist Board received recognition and awards for, such as the Red Dot Award in 2004 and 2009; Best of Show / HOW Design 2005, Best CREATIFS 2012, the ADI Design Award, Poster Annual 2011 / Graphis, Taiwan International Design Award 2009, Das goldene Stadttor ITB Berlin / 2012, the Karlovy Vary Tourfilm Festival in 2010 and 2012, Grand Prix Lecce 2012, 1st prize Zagreb Tourfilm Festival and many others.
Slavija Jačan Obratov was editor-in-chief of the oldest Croatian international interdisciplinary journal “Tourism“ between 2003 and 2013.

Francisco Dias – Jury member
Francisco Dias is a scientific expert in Tourism (PhD degree in Tourism Sciences from the Perpignan University, France) and works as Professor of Tourism at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, in Portugal. He was the founder of EJTHR – European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation, and the former director of the Tourism Research Unit – GiTUR.
In 2008, he was the founder of the ART&TUR – International Tourism Film Festival, one of the festival members of CIFFT, and he continues to be its director. He is also the president of two professional associations supporting the cooperative network in tourism: the Portuguese Tourism Association (APTUR) and the Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association (EATSA).
As a researcher, his studies are focused on the development monitoring tools to assess the competitive performance of tourism destinations.
Lee Gluckman – Jury member
Producers Group & Mobius Awards, USA
Producers Group Ltd. Chairman Lee Gluckman, a graduate in Communications from Michigan State University, has spent his entire career in film and video production, including work in commercials. He began in network and educational television.
Gluckman is also the Chairman of Mobius Awards, an international advertising and design competition, and of the U.S. International Film & Video Festival, and oversees the daily operations of both in Redondo Beach, California. Gluckman is also the President of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festival based in Vienna, Austria.
Sandra Inkēna – Jury member
The Director of the International Tourism Film Festival “Tourfilm Riga” (member of CIFFT) (2008-2017)
A graduate of Latvian University started her career as an editor at the Publishing house „Latvian Encyclopaedia”, then joined the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a Business Promotion Manager.
In 2004 started to work at the Riga City Council as the Director of Riga Tourism Coordination and Information Centre for 7 years, the Centre was responsible for the tourism development in the city of Riga. Later joined the Foreign Affairs Office of the Riga City Council. In 2008 started to organize the first International Tourism Film Festival “Tourfilm Riga” supported by the Riga City Council. This year the Festival will be celebrating the 10th anniversary.
Slobodan Kadic – Jury member
Slobodan Kadic, born in 1973 in Našice. A graduate of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University (Osijek) in Croatian language and literature, has spent his entire career in journalism, writing for Večernji list and Glas Slavonije newspapers and other magazines. Executive Board member of FIJET Croatia (Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et Ecrivains du Tourisme), the winner of European Award for tourism (2016.) for outstanding services in the field of tourism. Now living in Moscow and working as a lecturer of Croatian language at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MGU).
Silvestar Kolbas – Jury member
Silvestar Kolbas is a Croatian cinematographer, photographer and film director. Born 12.04.1956. in Petrovci, Croatia. He graduated in Film and TV Camera in 1982 at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. Today he is a full professor at the same school. As a cinematographer he has made a live-action and several feature, short and TV films, series and documentaries, both for television and independent productions. Lately he is mostly engaged in feature documentaries as cinematographer, but he also directed some personal, self-reflective documentaries (‘All About Eva’, ‘The War Reporter’, ‘20 Days on Tibet’, ‘Self-portrait’, ‘The Red Star Cinema’). In his films he used autobiographical starting point and discusses visual media. He also exhibited photographs, published and edited cinematography-related theses, has led numerous workshops and courses in film (School of Media of Croatian Film Club’s Association, various film festivals and cinema clubs).
Daniel Pavlic – Jury member
Daniel Pavlic is an activist, film maker, designer, writer and artist currently working in Sisak, Croatia who is managing the film and cinema department in Culture center in Sisak. He is an organizer of Revia documentary film “Fibula”, Smaragdni eco film festival – SEFF, PRESSfilm festival, a director of a few documentary films as Republika mašte(2010), Prof. bike-man (2011), SEFF – Emerald walley(2012), Water up to my neck (2015) etc.
