AZER GARIBOV (also known as Azer Garib) was born in 1961 in Baku. Studied at the Oriental faculty of Azerbaijan State University and graduated with honors (1983). Author, presenter and holder of rights of “Oralar” TV program (on tourism and travel) on the National Television. Author and presenter of “5 o’clock with Azer Garib” Program at 1news.az, azru.tv, yurd.tv websites, also co-founder and editor of azru.tv. Author of more than 400 documentary films and television programs, numerous media appearances, the founder of the tourist information web portal – www.oralar.az
Was awarded in different years:
“Golden Pen” Award (2006),
Zardabi Award of Azerbaijan Union of Journalists (2010), “Honored Tourism Officer” of
Ministry of Culture and Tourism (2013).
In 2013 was a Chairman of the Jury of the Baku Tourfilm Festival.
