Born on April 18th ,1954, Bernardin Modrić started filming professionally in 1980 when he directed his debut movie “PODHUM , 12.VII.1942” Until today, he created about a hundred short fiction movies and documentaries   roadcasted and awarded in Croatia and abroad.
He is a co-founder and director of ISTRA FILM, an artistic association of film workers from Rijeka and Zagreb, operating since 1987.
Also is a member of the Croatian Artists Community, Society of Croatian Film Artists and the Croatian Producers Association. Lives and works in Rijeka.
