Zdenka, born in Šibenik in 1959, completed her elementary and high school education in her hometown. She subsequently graduated from the Administrative College and Tourism Management Faculty.

Zdenka’s tourim career began in the private sector as a student and continued in the Ministry of Tourism and the Croatian National Tourist Board, where she has been working for more than 20 years.

While occupying the position of Chief of Cabinet of the Minister, she was also entrusted with other responsibilities. These include being a member of various professional tourist committees and the educational and environmental programs I love Croatia and Green Flower, the selection committee of the European Destinations of Excellence (EDEN).

Moreover, she was also a member of the administrative council of the Paklenica National Park and Biokovo Nature Park and held posts numerous expert panels in the Ministry of Tourism.

Currently, she lives in Zagreb and works with the Ministry of Tourism as the head of DMO development sector.
